I’m so excited to hear this! I’ve just watched their MV for “Goodbye Road” and I’m interested to see if the album is going to share the same sad sentiments as the title. While I’m not ready for another Return shit show, I’m expecting there to be some nice slow songs I can get on board with. I will be looking into the lyrics as well and letting you know the particular parts that messed with me.
What a year iKON have had in 2018 which has ultimately become a double-edged sword in my opinion. On one hand, they’re the first YG group to have three comebacks in one year but on the other hand they could be overworking themselves. I’m an advocate for an idols mental health and happiness above all things so I hope the boys haven’t run themselves too raw.
Due to my absence on YouTube, I will include both my first listen to this album, including comments of the songs lyrically and how cohesive the album is as a whole.
Time’s like these are when I really miss filming reactions for YouTube. I have a solid handful amount of groups who are my favourites and iKON for sure is one of them. Their last comeback for “Love Scenario” continues to make me lose my mind, as well as the perfection of their album Return.
From the amazing success of “Love Scenario” still creating ripples in Korea and worldwide, I was very interested in what this song was going to sound like. I wasn’t sure if it was going to be linked closely to Return or it would sound better as a stand alone song.
I also love watching these boys dance – they’re so amazing at it and I feel like they don’t get enough recognition for their choreography.
Check out my reaction below!
It is a bit of a long video but I do have a lot to say so I won’t write too much here. Take a look at my very first FIRST LISTEN to IKONs new album Return down below!Read More »
Look, there’s a lot to be said about IKON and their ability to both write a great song and execute said song. Although a total 180 from their previous comeback songs ‘Bling Bling’ and ‘BDay’, ‘Love Scenario’ is equal to their greatness. Maybe even greater. I did write about my love for all seven boys in a previous post (see Part 1 and Part 2 to one of my favourite K-Pop groups I made last year). Once you read those I’m sure you’d understand how much I love them. This song threw me through a rollercoaster of emotions!Read More »
